I. Summary
This project was conceptualized to address the growing need for safe, inclusive, and educational spaces where young people can develop critical thinking skills, understand humanist values, and engage in meaningful discussions on topics often considered sensitive, such as secularism and sex education.
Many youth today lack access to accurate information and open dialogue, which can lead to misconceptions, poor decision-making, and limited personal growth. The program will be conducted as a two-day engagement combining team building activities, educational discussions, and cultural appreciation.
The first day will focus on Humanism, Secularism, Critical Thinking, and Sex Education, led by invited speaker a HAPI Scholar, Jaztine Santos, aiming to empower participants with knowledge and ethical perspectives.
The second day will emphasize Filipino through art creation and traditional games, promoting sustainability as these arts can serve as a way for funding as well as foster cooperation and community bonding.
By integrating learning with interactive and culturally grounded activities, the project seeks to enhance participants’ intellectual, social, and emotional development. It also aims to foster a sense of responsibility, respect for diversity, and appreciation of local traditions.
II. Objectives
1. Enhance Youth Knowledge and Awareness
