Ice-Block and Chilled Water Business for Maiduguri Safe House

Project Description:

The project is about ice block production and chilled water provision for self reliance among humanists. The hot weather of Maiduguri coupled with lack of sufficient electricity, necessitate high demand for ice blocks and chilled water for consumption.

This is a lucrative business in Maiduguri because in the dry season the weather of Maiduguri is mostly over 40 degrees celsius. 

This project aims to generate 24/7 electric power supply using solar panels, batteries and other gadgets. 

The project will help to drastically reduce the problem of lack of ice block and chilled water for consumption in the community and other places.

We will use 2 deep freezers for this project, people from other communities will come and retail ice blocks and chilled water  from us daily in large quantities.

A profit of $3-$6 will be made daily. in a month profit of over $100 will be made.

From the revenue generated we will do other projects of promoting humanism, women empowerment and sponsor less privileged child education every 3 months.

1. solar panels 12 (165 watts each), each one cost $27

     $27x 12= $324

2. Hybrid inverter (3.5 KVA) cost $215

3. Two deep freezers (L.G freezers) each cost $429

    $429x2= $858

4. One battery (1,000 watts) cost $233

5. labour to assemble the solar gadgets cost $30
