I was a very religious Sunni Muslim from the core Northern Nigeria following all the teachings of Mohammed;  observing 5 daily prayers,  fast during the month of Ramadan and reading Quran was my everyday habits.

As I further my studies I started to come across some verses of the Quran that goes in contrary to one another, unscientific statements and honorary killings ordered by Mohammed himself led me started to think that this religion needs reformation or Wipeout as a result of inhumane activities that surrounded it.

I started to stopped going to mosques in 2014 since whenever read or listened from the meanings and teachings the Quran and the traditions of the said prophet I got another confusion. 

Later my parents and friends discovered that they disowned and case me out of their house. 

I believe Humanism to be alternative to religions that believe in supernatural god and life in hereafter. Humanists believe that this is the only life of which we have certain knowledge and we owed to ourselves and others to make it the bestife possible and all with whom we share this planet. A believe that when people are free to think for themselves, using reasoning and knowledge as their tools they are best to solve the problems of this world.
