Project Description
We want to provide woollen clothes to the students because the winter season always brings greater needs.
Poor children face severe difficulty in the cold weather without proper sweaters or shoes. Many of them suffer from illness due to the lack of warm clothing. We want to provide sweaters to these children so they can stay warm, healthy, and attend school regularly.
This year, we would like to provide 40 medium-sized full-sleeve sweaters,
Each costing $7.5, bringing the total project cost to:
40 × $7.5 = $300
*We also propose to include the HuMAN Logo on these sweaters.
*Benefits to the Community
Providing sweaters to poor children will:
•Protect them from cold and reduce the risk of illness.
•Improve school attendance by keeping them warm and healthy.
•Enhance concentration and learning by reducing discomfort.
•Boost their confidence by replacing torn or inadequate clothing.
•Reduce the financial burden on families struggling to afford basic winter needs.
•Promote dignity, equality, and community care.
In short, this simple initiative improves health, education, dignity, and long-term opportunities for the children.
* What Does Humanism Mean to You?
For us, humanism represents the rational and compassionate advancement of society. It stands for a world free from religious, caste-based, or racial discrimination, ideological bias, and oppressive divisions.
As humanists, we advocate for equal opportunity for every human being, especially those who are marginalized. We promote rational and scientific thinking and support its practical application in daily life.
Humanism is not limited to charity alone—it strives to eliminate oppression through sustained, meaningful efforts. Our vision is a society defined by wisdom, empathy, rationality, and humanistic joy, where every person has access to meaningful work, dignity, and basic needs.
