“My design was inspired by Nordic garden allotment homes, where houses are connected together in a circular fashion. All homes are connected by their gardens, and all resources are shared in the community. I included a tree canopy (which could be a good forest) on the perimeter to provide a cooling effect. I also repurposed ideas from the 2018 research paper titled “Agrihoods” which describes living around a working farm, where all people who live in the community also work to help sustain themselves through small-scale regenerative agriculture.”  - Emma Alanis
