Project
This project will build a sustainable community art and education hub.
We will:
· Rent a small classroom/workshop space for 6 months.
· Conduct weekday paid art classes to generate income.
· Provide free weekend art and literacy sessions for suburban children.
· Teach children and members to create crafts and artworks for sale at local and online markets.
· Gradually cover running costs through income, aiming to be self-sustaining after 6 months.
Budget (USD 600 / 6 months)
Rental - 6 months for $420
Art & Craft supplies - $100
Food - $72
Printing and Packaging - $8
TOTAL - $600
Expected Income from Project, with Timeline:
· Month 1–2 (start-up):
o Paid weekday art classes begin
o Free weekend sessions run.
o Crafts/artworks start production.
· Month 3–4:
o First small exhibition/market sale.
o Estimated income: $100–150/month from classes + $30–50/month from crafts.
· Month 5–6:
o Growth in students and craft sales.
o Estimated income: $200/month, covering rent + materials.
By the end of 6 months, the program should be able to continue from generated income.
